Daniel Bell-Drummond walked like a man who'd been on his feet for eight hours in 30+ degree heat on Sunday, shuffling over to a bench on the pavilion slope before reassuring us: "I'm overdoing it."
He was understandably tired, but also slightly surprised to learn he'd just scored more than 50 for the 100th time as a Kent player. “I’m very happy," he said. "I'm in a decent place at the minute and I'm glad I can contribute to the team, I've played with all my career, all my life pretty much from a kid. So long may it continue and we’ll try and win games in the process.”
