Middlesex v Kent, Day One.

Kent 299-6, after 76 overs.

Kent probably had the better of day one at Northwood, having posted 299-6 after a couple of rain delays. Sam Northeast and Zak Crawley both got out in the 80s and there was spell when the skies grew leaden and the ball was deviating like Ant McParlin on his way home after a session, but Ekansh Singh and Keith Dudgeon shifted the momentum back in Kent's favour by putting on 21, during an awkward four over session at the end.
