The main character you never actually see is a staple of the entertainment business. Maris Crane can still be unseen three times a morning on Channel 4 (six if you include 4+1).
The first season of MASH featured an episode called “Tuttle”, with the plot centring on a heroic doctor, who everyone claimed to love even though he didn’t actually exist; and then there’s Captain Mainwaring’s wife in Dad’s Army, Vera Peterson in Cheers, and everyone’s best mate, Godot.
You know where this is going, don’t you ladies and gentlemen? Senuran Muthusamy isn’t the first player to sign for Kent and never actually play and if you’re into omens, the most recent one really isn’t that bad.
