When Ben McKinney smote Kent to record his first century for Durham in the Metro Bank Cup back in 2024, he made a point of saying what a “lovely” ground Canterbury was. Watching the action at Chester-le-Street on Monday, you could perhaps see why someone who'd played the bulk of their cricket in Durham would like it.
