He puts his free hand up by way of an apology, manages a bone-crushing handshake and apologises again once he’s wrapped up his conversation before trying (and failing) to work out how the new phone-charging machine by the door works.

He also looks like he has “new dad” eyes, although there’s another explanation for this.

Two nights before our interview, his car was stolen at 2am in the morning. He tracked it down to a location in North London and was reunited with it six hours later. He concedes going vigilante may not have been have been a great idea, but was on the phone to the police the whole time.
