Kent's policy of turning off comments on their social media posts made national news headlines ahead of the Derbyshire game. SIMON COOK explained the reasons behind the move to The Spitfire.
FA: Is there anything that's particularly triggered the new social media policy, or are you just heading it off at the pass?
SC: There's nothing specific, I guess. What we're trying to do is basically allow the players to focus solely and completely on these next three games of cricket.
The players have come out and Smokes (Adam Hollioake) has come out and said that obviously performances haven't been great, they haven't been up to the standards that the players and the members obviously expect.
