Streets' laser focus helps Kent over the line

Coco Streets looked slightly distracted during her post-match interview, for reasons which became obvious once it had wrapped up, but there’s been no questioning her focus during Kent’s opening two matches.
The opener hit 78 at Wantage Road during a 39-run defeat to Northants on the opening day of the season, and she followed that up with a pivotal century as Kent eased to a four-wicket run over the Derbyshire Falcons on Sunday.
Although she didn’t quite carry her bat, Streets hit 108 off 97 balls, including 17 fours and by the time she finally fell, in the 37th over, the game was almost in the bag. “I definitely enjoyed it, it was just such a nice pitch to play on today,” she told Dan Whiting.
