Kent, 284, beat Norfolk, 185, by 99 runs.
Kent dealt with Norfolk comfortably enough at Sprowston on Wednesday, beating them by 99 runs. There were passages, during the first innings at least, when a giant-killing looked possible, but with all 13 members of the Kent squad getting a game it was no surprise Norfolk failed to seriously challenge.
After choosing to bat, Kent posted 284 from 48.2 overs, on a track that frankly didn't look easy to bat on. At one stage they were 212-7, but Chris Benjamin top scored with 121 while Grant Stewart made an unbeaten 45 from 21, injecting some impetus down the order before he ran out of partners.
