Crawley signs new Kent deal
15.10.26, 10:56
Zak Crawley will be staying with his home county for at least another season, after it was announced he'd extended his Kent contract on Thursday morning.
Earlier this week it was announced the 28-year-old had lost his England central contract, but speculation that he would be looking to move proved wide of the mark.
“I’m delighted to sign on for a further year at my boyhood county," he said. "It’s an exciting time as we head back into Division One of the County Championship and I’m looking forward to the challenge of competing for Kent this coming Summer.“
The chance to mentor emerging players like Ben Dawkins, Ekansh Singh and Jaydn Denly also proved persuasive.
