The Spitfire would like to issue an apology: in our intro to Sunday's report, we stated that "Kent will now have to win both their remaining games to stand any chance of reaching the knocking stages."
This isn't actually true. If they lose on Friday their chances may be anorexically slim, but as Lloyd Christmas once said in the film Dumb and Dumber, when told he had a one-in-a-million chance of getting together with Mary Swanson: "there's still a chance."
The term "must-win" has to be one of the most debased cliches in the sports-journalist's handbook - how many "must-win" games did Arsenal fail to win last season? However, what we can say about tomorrow's El Clacketto is that if Kent do fail to do the business, they will probably be eliminated. Here are the scenarios:
