Heading for Hove: Evison leaves early

Joey Evision seems to have played his last game for Kent, after the club agreed to loan him to Sussex ahead of his move there next season.
The news isn't a major suprise. Evison played for the 2nds in their 100-run win over Surrey at New Malden last week, before he was withdrawn from this week's game with Gloucestershire at the St. Lawrence.
When Evision joined Kent from Nottinghamshire in 2022, a similar deal saw him loaned for the final few weeks of the season, during which he won the man-of-the-match award for his performance against Lancashire in the List A final.
This move was sanctioned due to the relatively healthy state of the Kent dressing room, with Hasan Mahmud due to arrive on September 1 and reports consistently linking Kent with another member of the Bangladesh test squad.
