Khaled Ahmed is not guaranteed to play against Worcestershire, despite Kent announcing the Bangladesh international's signing on Tuesday.
With a maximum of two overseas players allowed in the starting XI, Kent will have to choose two out of Khaled, his compatriot Hasan Mahmud and the South African Keith Dudgeon, Kent's second leading wicket taker this season behind Matt Milnes.
The other major news is that Matt Parkinson has been left out of the squad with, as the club put it, "pitch preparations in mind". With Jaydn Denly still out with an ankle injury, Bertie Foreman is included as a spin option.
