Kent have named an experienced 14-man squad for their Metro Bank Cup opener with Northants tomorrow, but there's no place for Ben Compton or Matt Quinn.
Keith Dudgeon, Matt Milnes reinforce the side that beat Norfolk by 99 runs on Wednesday and Ben Dawkins returns after a spell with England U19s.
Compton misses out after making 25 at Sprowston and there's no place either for Quinn, who bowled seven overs for 24 and was denied a wicket when Chris Benjamin put down a chance at the end.
Daniel Bell-Drummond will skipper the side and Sam Northeast could make his first official List A game for Kent since 2017, when he captained the side and scored 3 in a DLS-shortened defeat to Essex at the St Lawrence. Northeast averages 37.13 in the format and has six centuries and 23 fifties.
