Day 2: Kent 308-8 trail Gloucestershire 325 by 17 runs.

Tawanda Muyeye suggested Kent might just have an edge over Gloucestershire, after day two in Bristol ended with the visitors 17 runs in arrears. “It’s a tricky pitch to bat on and it’s still offering a fair bit for the bowlers,” he said, after hitting Kent’s top score, 90. “It’s not turning much, which is probably an advantage for us, because they are playing two spinners and we have five seamers.”
