At the end of 2021 I was invited to the Kent Supporters Club’s Christmas lunch in Tonbridge, where the club’s former Chief Executive, Simon Storey, held a Q and A session.
He was, inevitably given the location, asked whether the Tunbridge Wells Festival would be returning in 2022. His reply left the entire room crestfallen.
The outground debate vexes the membership like no other issue (except perhaps parking) and after the first ever Beckenham Festival it reignited once again ...
