Kent announced their third signing in the space of 24 hours on Wednesday afternoon, when they revealed that Bertie Foreman would be joining the club on a two-month deal, following the news that both Jake Lintott and Dian Forrester had signed for The Spitfires.

After some eye-catching performances for both the 2nd XI and Buckinghamshire in the National Counties competition, we suggested Foreman was one to watch at the back end of April.

Foreman, who turns 22 today, described as a both a hard-worker and a great character. Buckinghamshire’s Head of Performance, Jason Harrison, paid him a glowing tribute: “It’s fantastic news that Bertie has secured a short-term deal with Kent. Since joining us, he has been first class in every department and fully deserves this opportunity.”
