Forrester signs as Muthusamy's arrival is delayed

Kent have signed South African all-rounder Dian Forrester ahead of this season’s Vitality Blast, to replace the injured Senuran Muthusamy.
Muthusamy is still set to join Kent in July, but Cricket South Africa have declined to release him for the T20 tournament, after he sufered a knee injury. The spinner’s absence will not come as a surprise to Kent fans, following yesterday’s announcement that the Spitfires had signed Jake Lintott on loan from Warwickshire.
Forrester is a 25-year-old left-hander, who’s played for the Joburg Super Kings and the Rawalpindi Pindiz in the PSL, alongside Spitfires captain Sam Billings. “I’m really excited to be playing for Kent in the Vitality Blast,” he said. "Talking to Sam Billings and Justin Kemp about the history of the club and how they love it made me also want to be part of that history, and write my own this summer. I can’t wait to play in front of packed crowds at Canterbury and give my best for the club."
