Kent v Lancashire Day One: LIVE

Lancs 16-0 after six.

It's not easy out there but Kent haven't broken through yet. Three maidens so far, two for Milnes and one for Quinn, but no breakthrough yet. Benjamin is standing up and nearly pulls off a stumping, but the square leg ump says not out. The first boundary comes when Jones steers Quinn for four wide of the slips. Quinn then bowls a bouncer that goes so far over Jennings head that it goes for four byes.

Playing catch up here slightly, due to a delay on the A2 this morning. Of the 15-man squad, Kent names, the men to miss out are Ben Dawkins, Jas Singh, Ekansh Singh and Grant Stewart. James Anderson is in the Lancshire side.

Milnes opens from the Nackington Road End to Jones. Lively, one edge that doesn't carry. Quinn is given the ball at the Pavilion End. He bowls a maiden - Jones edged him just of short of second slip. Tawanda Muyeye couldn't hold on to it, but it wasn't a drop as we reported initially.

The news from the middle is that Kent have won the toss, and will bowl. The wicket is so far over to the Old Dover Road side of the ground, the fielders might as well stay on the balconies.
